The XXVth annual Tacitus Lecture was given at Guildhall by Mr Terry Smith. Terry Smith is the Chief Executive of Tullett Prebon plc, one of the largest inter-dealer money brokers in the world which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. He has held this position since December 2006. Terry Smith is also the CEO of Fundsmith, a Fund Management business he launched in November 2010.
He is the author of the controversial book "Accounting for Growth; stripping the camouflage from company accounts" published in 1992, Chairman of the successful Campaign to commemorate Air Marshal Sir Keith Park and he was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to New Zealand - UK relations by Her Majesty The Queen in the 2012 New Zealand New Year Honours.
