Chiswick Sea Cadet Unit paraded at Chiswick Pier

On 6th July, the Chiswick Sea Cadet Unit paraded at Chiswick Pier in the presence of The Mayor of Hounslow, Mr Paul Kennerley, The Deputy Lord Lieutenant of London for the area and Mr Graham Bishop, The Master of the Worshipful Company of World Traders. The focus of the event was three presentations by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant. The first two were of certificates of achievement to two Cadets from the Unit. The third was the presentation of a flag to the Chiswick Unit from the Chiswick Branch of the Royal British Legion for loyal service for the 25 years during which the unit has provided a guard for Legion ceremonies including the annual Remembrance Day parade.
